Course Summary

This LIVE interactive 2 day virtual seminar will give a detailed overview of clinical supervision for counselors, therapists, social workers and other mental health professionals including: 

– Differentiation between the roles and responsibility of a supervisor

– Teaching and supervision modalities

– Ethical and legal implications

Learning objectives:

• Basic understanding of supervision including roles, modalities and styles of supervision
• Become familiar with ethical, legal and professional regulations in supervision
• Evaluation and supervision review
• Various roles of being a supervisor including admin, teacher, consultant and more

15 NBCC hours

The School of Psychology has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7309. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified.
